Caribbean (2000)
'Caribbean', one of two trefoil windows installed at the west front of the church of St John and St. Peter, Ladywood. The church has recently been extensively and very successful refurbished, with a new works of art programme. This, the first arts project was to design glass which would celebrate the bonding of the British and Afro-Caribbean cultures of the congregation. The light conditions and position allowed the use of both strong colour and detail. Antique glass was acid-etched, silver stained, painted, enamelled and plated.
